My story at LEONI LCS
My name is Denis. I have been working at LEONI Slovakia since 2016. I graduated from a secondary vocational school in the field of carpentry with an extension in the same field.
I joined LEONI LCS as a graduate right after graduation, I responded to a published advertisement. I started as a Production Operator and as much as I enjoyed production and machines, I was interested in learning how to operate multiple lines and I am currently working as a Production Operator Senior Specialist.
This is my job
The daily routine is to operate an extrusion line. My current extrusion line belongs to the newer generation of extrusion lines with a specific software interface, measures about 40 meters in length and is one of the fastest in terms of performance. When I arrive to work, I change the necessary tools on the line, check the product specification according to the documentation and check the correctness of the parameters and input materials. I check the process throughout production to make sure the line is working properly according to the order specification.
What I enjoy most about my job is the independence and its uniqueness, as many companies in the area do not produce cables.
My Highlights
It motivates me to produce quality products while meeting performance standards. I choose to work at LEONI LCS because the company is located close to where I live, and at the same time I appreciate the diversity of production and the possibility of career growth, which requires responsibility, loyalty and a willingness to understand new things and their context.
My view of LEONI LCS as an employer
I see LEONI LCS as a good, stable, globally known company with high product quality. I am grateful to my colleagues who taught me and passed on their experience. In a few years, I will definitely see myself in this company. I don't dare to guess at what position, but my ambitions are definitely to advance in my career.
